The Galleria Boralevi started in Venice in 1930 with Tina Boralevi, an antiques expert with a vast knowledge of ancient fabrics. It was thanks to her son, Bruno, however, that the Galleria gained appreciation around the world. When the war ended, and the gallery moved to Florence, Bruno Boralevi decided to specialize in carpets and soon became a leader on the international market. The Galleria has always participated in the major antiques shows and its carpets decorate some of the most prestigious spaces. Currently the Galleria is managed by Daniele Boralevi who took over from his father. Daniele has brought new inspirations to the Galleria, especially thanks to various collaborations with important architects and interior designers. Many of the spaces decorated with Boralevi carpets have appeared in specialized magazines all over the world. Daniele Boralevi is able to satisfy even the most difficult requests thanks to his vast assortment and the relationships he has with the major international markets. Three generations of experience make for the best guarantee Daniel Boralevi can offer to his clients, who also receive the best in post-sale service, from carpet maintenance to any possible exchanges. For the last five years, Daniele Boralevi along with his brother Daniel has been publishing the "Trame Svelate" volumes, which have become periodic appointments with carpet lovers and aficionados. |
